NOTE: There is No Charge for any radios that PDMNet cannot repair. PDMNet normally disposes of any un-repairable radios upont completion of the repair batch.

PDMNet began using the Canopy product in February 2002. Since that time, PDMNet has established itself as a leader in consulting to other Canopy WISPs, helping them to understand the technology and its applications. In November 2008, PDMNet opened its Canopy Radio Repair Services division, to assist WISPs with a burdensome problem... how to get those broken radios back into service in a way that didnt break the bank or add more frustration that in was worth to repair them.

Prior to implementing the Repair Center, PDMNet struggled with the service options that were available for Canopy modules. Repair work from many shops was slow, unreliable, or very expensive. To address this, PDMNet took the time to streamline its internal processes and dramatically raise the bar on what can be expected from a Canopy Repair Service Center. Each PDMNet repair technician undergoes intensive training on the Canopy modules and is able to properly test, diagnose, and repair many common (and a few uncommon) failures.

All Repairs from PDMNet have a 1 year warranty on the issue serviced !!

Repair times are typically 7 to 10 days, frequently less. PDMNet also offers emergency repairs for an additional fee. A Repair Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is assigned to each shipment for tracking. PDMNet uses a simple information form where a WISP can describe the condition of each module in the shipment to be serviced.

Each unit goes through extensive real world testing and evaluation throughout the repair process to ensure that what a WISP receives is entirely “field ready”. Maximum data upload/download, firmware upgrades, extended cable loss tolerance, power/voltage tolerance, Ethernet, GPS timing circuit and FPGA/CPU/DSP interface testing are all standard on PDMNet repairs. Every issue repaired on every unit carries a 1-year warranty.
